Description

After brief greetings and pleasantries you will head straight to Pisa. We suggest you spend about an hour visiting the Leaning Tower and Piazza del Duomo, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. From here you will continue on towards Lucca.

By the late Middle Ages, the independent city state of Lucca boasted an enormous wealth, making it a Mecca of art and architecture second only to Florence.

The historic center is encircled by towering medieval walls. Once representing a striking example of military ingenious, today the walls are a pedestrian promenade.

Given its size,  you can easily get around on foot and admire the perfectly preserved churches, gardens and Romanesque buildings.
